Incorporated in 1827, Bloomfield Township was the first Charter Township formed in Oakland County. Today it is a 26 square mile community known for its natural beauty, rolling hills, winding roads and lakes that can be as small as a scenic pond or large enough to handle small boats. Ninety-five percent of the Township is residential. Houses range in size from small, affordable homes to grand estates. Many of the region’s top executives and business owners live in Bloomfield Township because of the unique, and in many cases one-of-a-kind homesteads.
