Greetings and Welcome to my Real Estate Website
When I obtained my Real Estate license on march 17 1988 interest rates were in the double digits,We used a typewriter and carbon paper to prepare 6 orginals of the "offer to purchase" .Voice mail,Caller ID,Cell phones,GPS,Digital cameras and searching the web to find a home didn't exist. the MLS listings were published in a book that came out twice a month. At the end of my first 9 months in the business I received the Rookie of the Year Award. It's hard to believe that was over 28 years ago.
Technology has sure changed how homes are bought, sold and leased!
Buyer Consultation ( Real estate 101)
Before going out to look at homes my clients have completed what I call Real Estate 101.
During the Buyer consultation we discuss
Realistic monthly housing costs and what that means in relation to a price range
Price range and expectations of what you get for your money
Areas and Styles of homes
Proposal A..TV ,SEV ,Homestead,NonHomestead,Capping,Uncapping(this one almost has a language of its own but its very important to understand how our property taxes are assessed and the impact it will have on a newly purchased home)
The Wish list... must haves vs would be nice items
Paperwork... we go over an actual offer to purchase and amendments
Inspections and When to do do What
