Personal Background

I was born in Detroit, but spent most of my childhood years in Highland Park where I grew up and graduated high school. I have been married to my husband for 37 years. We have two daughters. The eldest is an attorney, she is married and resides in Oakland Country with her husband. My husband and I are the proud grandparents of our soon to be 2 year old grandson and we are eagerly awaiting our second grandchild. Our youngest daughter is a very talented hairstylist and makeup artist, she is married and resides in Oakland County with her husband.

I attended Wayne Community College earning an Associate of Arts Degree in Accounting. I left school to assist my mom who had suffered a stroke and to start our family. I worked in the field of accounting for several years.  I decided to try something new, so I began a 20 year career in the insurance industry working as a Claim Representative and Litigation Specialist.

Then the day came when I decided to pursue a career as a Realtor. The thought had been in the back of my head for some time.  This was one of the best decisions that I have ever made. I have never had so much fun, made so many friends, and built so many relationships as I have assisting my clients with making their dreams come true with the sale or purchase of their homes. My clients are largely responsible for my success because they have extended me their trust and have kept me going by referring their family, friends, and co-workers. "Thank You!"

Professional Background

I have been a licensed Realtor/Associate Broker for eighteen years. During the years I have had the opportunity to meet and work with some very wonderful, very interesting people from all walks of life, and professional backgrounds. As their Realtor,  I have earned their trust, developed strong professional relationships, but more importantly, I have established lifetime friendships.  My clients have supported me through the years with repeat business and have referred many of their family members and friends who need the assistance of a Real Estate Professional.

I am a member of the National Association of Realtors; Michigan Association of Realtors and Northern Oakland County Board of Realtors. I also serve as a committee member for the Northern Oakland County Board of Realtors Membership Services Committee and the Northern Oakland County Board of Realtor Grievance Committee.

In addition to the above, I have worked in the insurance industry as a Claim Representative and a Litigation Specialist for more than twenty years.  I have had the opportunity to work for several reputable, very well established insurance companies such as Travelers Insurance Company, Cuna Mutual and Liberty Mutual.

I have worked in the field of accounting keeping books for several  constructions companies and General Motors working with accounts receivables, accounts payable, payroll, quarterly and payroll taxes.
